The fameland chopper landed at Gallery 800 on Sunday, January 16th 2011 for the opening of
"As Seen at Comic-Con: an Exhibition of Professional Work by the Illustrators of the Art Director's Guild". This exhibit was put together by Casey Bernay for Comic-Con 2010. Gallery 800 Curator is Denis Olsen.

Concept Artist Patrick Jänicke explained his raw and rusty car designs for the movie "Death Race" by Paul Anderson. The raw and rusty fameland chopper demonstrates how his professional art work and his daily lifestyle are going hand in hand. The German but L.A. based artist considers designing sets and vehicles for Hollywood movies and riding this sculpture on wheels as elements of a greater "Gesamtkunstwerk".

The Hollywood Design Studio DESIGNSFICTION (http://www.designsfiction.com) was commissioned to engineer and conceptual design the tracks and treads for the 2009 RollsOnTracks, Flagship vehicle of Fameland Fashion. Here a preliminary 3D rendering of this Hollywood Dream Machine driven by Jim Rohn II, Lebowski III and young Urban Achievers. Soon it will make its way from Sunset Blvd up on Sunset Plaza Drive, way up into the Hollywood Hills!

What's the meaning behind the Fameland Trademark vehicle, the "Rolls on Tracks"?
Ever heard of the road less travelled? The RollsOnTracks makes its own road.
We heard some people speak about these "times of an uncertain future" - Wouldn't that be ALL THE TIME?! Who cares anyway? One might say: "Uncertainty is a basic human need!" Otherwise things get boring. "We were never being boring!" When (or "IF") "the shit hits the fan" - we still carry on, travelling in style on a luxury vehicle raised above mediocrity, crossing lines of boundaries - going the extra mile!
And: The extra mile is never crowded!
